Our Round Lake High School alumni are saddened to hear of the death of John. We are very proud and in awe at the artist and loving person John became.

I have posted some of the information written by his friends and other artists. I will do my best to find photos of his works of art, and personal photos to add to our alumni website. If you have anything you would like me to post or share, please feel free to contact me. I'd also love to hear from his family. RLHS alumni coordinator: Paula Beal http://classreport.org/usa/il/round_lake/rlhs/1972/

Your weaving is very beautiful. I remember using a cardboard loom in jr. high...but of course I never made anything as complex as you are. I'm bookmarking your blog so I can come back and see what you are up to.

I remember when both Kennedy's, MLK, and John Lennon were shot. I remember milk being delivered to our front door, and in glass bottles.
I remember traveling from Eastern Washington to Seattle, snuggled in blankes and pillows in the back of our station wagon. Then, 2 years later, my folks bought a Cadillac and promptly had plastic seat covers installed. And I remember "Streaking" in college!! :D

Laurie,
I have forgotten to check this site and I see that I've missed a lot of your weaving!
I'll remember now to pop over here and see what you've done.
